A Pre-Moot of the 18th edition of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot open to teams from 16 universities worldwide.

Program

Saturday - April 2, 2011:

8 a.m. - general round 1

10 a.m. - general round 2

12 a.m. - lunch break

2 p.m. - general round 3

4 p.m. - general round 3

6:30 p.m. - announcement of quarter-finalists - cocktail

8:30 - dinner (each person will bear their own expenses)

10:30 - São Paulo nightlife (optional)

Sunday - April 3, 2011:

8 a.m. - quarter finals

10 a.m. - semifinals

12 a.m. - lunch break

2 p.m. - third place dispute session

4 p.m. - final session

6:30 p.m. - announcement of winning team and award - cocktail

How to register

Please register by February 30, 2011.

Registration is free.

All information and materials will be sent by e-mail.

For teams

Registration is open to 16 teams participating in the 18th Vis Moot worldwide. The first to register will secure a spot. Please send and e-mail to [email protected] with the name and nationality of the University, the full name of students and accompanying professors and coaches, if any.

For arbitrators

Please send and e-mail to [email protected] with full name, nationality and information of how you acquired knowledge of International Commercial Law or International Arbitration (i.e. research or experience). Previous Vis Moot students or coaches are most welcome!
